Twenty-two free, no-account, ad-friendly utilities — from an argument pattern decoder grounded in Gottman's research, to a long-distance time-zone planner, to a 5-component apology analyzer. We don't store anything you type. We don't ask for your email. Open a tab and be curious together.
The Lab
Click any tool. Most work fully offline — your text stays in this browser tab. None require an account or share anything with a server.
Three lenses in one — Chinese zodiac, Western sun-sign dynamics, and name numerology — so the score has texture, not vibes.
Filter by mood, budget, energy, indoors-vs-out — get a date that actually fits your Tuesday, not generic "cook pasta together" filler.
Three fairness modes: equal, proportional-to-income, and chore-credit. Includes a savings goal runway so the next trip is visible.
Paste a recap of an argument — get a Gottman-aligned read: which of the "Four Horsemen" are showing up, plus three repair moves.
Twenty questions that score across all five languages. The output isn't just your top — it's the gap between partners with action prompts.
365 prompts, one a day, kept in your browser's local storage. Export to text whenever you want — no cloud, no sign-up.
Days/weeks/years together, plus a timeline of 25 relationship milestones with "what healthy looks like" — used as a soft yardstick, not a scoreboard.
A private glossary for the two of you. Add a phrase, the story, and a "decay" rating so you remember which jokes have earned permanence.
Set both cities, instantly see your overlapping awake hours, plus a quarterly visit cost calculator that includes hidden costs most calculators forget.
Tests your draft apology across five components: regret, responsibility, repair, restitution, and repetition. Suggests exactly what to add — privately.
A structured 20-minute timer with body-scan, breath cycles, and a "ready-check" before going back into the conversation. Pre-built research presets.
A 7-day rotating planner that balances effort ("who cooked last"), diet tags, and one "wildcard" night so cooking stops being a chore tug-of-war.
Multi-currency trip planner with the seven "hidden costs" most calculators skip (SIM, transit passes, tips, visas, laundry, buffer, souvenirs).
Filter by the recipient's interest, your budget, the occasion — get three thoughtful, non-Amazon-suggestion ideas, each with a "why this works".
Each partner enters three mood sliders — we find the on-screen overlap, with a "compromise watch" backup for nights when overlap is genuinely zero.
Twenty-two questions across eight life-dimensions. Scores compile into a private radar chart — printable, exportable, never uploaded.
Two chronotype profiles, two sleep windows, four common "compromise bedtimes" — plus a checklist of environmental fixes couples tend to overlook.
Each partner tags interests on six axes (active/calm/creative/social/learning/sensory). The output gives shared hobbies + "parallel play" ideas.
Seven categories of "is this actually together or just co-located?" with a weekly 10-minute log. Notifies when one partner carries most of the load.
Each partner writes 5-year goals across eight life domains. The tool shows alignment, gaps, and a "first mile" task for every area of disagreement.
A daily appreciation micro-log: one concrete thing your partner did well, plus an "I noticed" prompt once a week. Quietly counters the negativity bias.
Maps visible chores (laundry, dishes) AND invisible labor (planning, scheduling, remembering). Includes a "why hasn't this gotten better" diagnostic.
A small manifesto
No email, no accounts, no analytics tied to your name. Anything you type stays in your browser. See the Privacy section for the boring-but-honest list of what we don't do.
Every tool references something — Gottman's Four Horsemen, Chapman's five love languages, ACEs research, ACT principles. We say where each idea comes from so you can read further.
We won't tell you a "score" defines your love. We won't email-bait you. We won't auto-play anything. If a tool feels off, close the tab — that's a real feature.
Common questions
Because love is many things. You don't need a "love optimizer" — you need a small workshop. Twenty-two intentionally separate tools that each do one specific job well beats one monolithic app that does everything badly.
No. Every tool runs entirely in your browser. We don't have a server database. When we mention "localStorage" it's your own browser saving what your own browser sees — not us. Closing the tab may erase it (browser-dependent). Use the Export buttons before clearing.
Yes — this site is supported by Google AdSense. Ads will never be disguised as buttons, results, or downloads. They will never interrupt a tool mid-flow. They will never target you with personal data because we don't have personal data about you.
No. These tools are educational prompts, not clinical assessments. If you find yourselves stuck, in crisis, or with safety concerns, please talk to a licensed professional in your jurisdiction. See our Disclaimer.
Yes — use the contact line at the bottom of the Privacy section. We're slow responders (it's a small Lab), but we read everything.
About this Lab
Two Hearts Lab started as a Notion doc between two people who kept finding the same problem: most "couple apps" were gamified toys, surveillance machines, or both. The standard compatibility test gives you one number and no path forward. The standard budget split app wants to link your bank accounts. The standard "date idea generator" hands you "cook dinner together" and thinks it's done.
So we built small tools that each do one thing honestly: a decoder that names patterns (not scores them), a budget splitter with three fairness models, an apology checker grounded in five-component apology research. Each tool cites what it's inspired by so you can read the source material.
What this site is — a static catalog of in-browser utilities for couples who want to think more carefully, not apps that want your data.
What this site isn't — a substitute for therapy, a substitute for a real conversation, or a substitute for the slow work of two humans getting to know each other again. Tools are tools. The people using them are the relationship.
The principles:

Two Hearts Lab does not require accounts, does not collect names, emails, phone numbers, IP addresses for profiling, or precise location data. Tools run client-side. Anything you type into a tool stays in your browser unless you choose to export it.
This site displays ads served by Google AdSense and other reputable third-party ad networks. These companies use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this site or other sites on the open Internet.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. The categories of data often used by Google for ad personalization (such as age band, broad interest categories, or general location at country level) are governed by your Google account settings, not by Two Hearts Lab. We never see this data ourselves.
Two Hearts Lab is intended for users 18 and older (couples in adult relationships). We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has used a tool, please contact the email below so we can think about how to respond.
If we change anything material, we'll update this page and bump the date at the top. We won't silently expand what we collect.

A "score" is a snapshot. It does not mean your relationship is good, bad, doomed, or destined. Real love is built over time and through repair, not measured by an algorithm.
